Unless otherwise indicated, please allow 5-7 working days for your order to reach you. If your order is placed over a weekend, please note Monday will count as the first working day.
RETURNS & REFUNDS FOR PRODUCTS BOUGHT ONLINE:
(i) Customers may also return any product bought online to a WHITEHOUSE or CONTINENTAL LINEN store in South Africa within 30 days from the shipping date. Any discrepancies relating to ordered stock quantities must be reported within 30 days in order for us to be able to investigate. Please note that for security reasons, refunds will be processed via our secure payment gateway and not in store.
ii) If you do not wish to return the items in store, goods may be couriered back to our online warehouse for a fee. Once your request for return has been received, you will be sent a link to make payment for the cost of the return courier fee. Alternatively, the courier cost will be deducted from your refund due. In the instance of an exchange you will be charged a collection fee, and a re-delivery fee if the order is under the free shipping threshold. (iii) Customers must present the original till slip which they received with their order.
(iv) Goods must be UNUSED and in their ORIGINAL packaging.
(v) On approval by management, money will be refunded to the customer in the same method they used to pay for their order (Paystack) The refund amount will exclude any delivery charges applicable to the order.
(vi) The refund will be processed by the Online team, and, in all cases, customers will receive their refund within a maximum of 7-10 working days from the date of return to our warehouse.
(vii) Management reserves the right to refuse a refund or exchange if the above conditions are not met. Please note that in the interest of hygiene, duvet inners, pillows, mattress and pillow protectors may not be eligible for exchange or return if they are not in their original condition and unused, subject to inspection by management.

Furniture ships flatpack and may require self-assembly. Free assembly is only available to Gauteng and Cape Town. Assembly lead time is 5 to 10 working days. The assembly team will contact you to make arrangements

For all furniture orders outside Cape Town & Gauteng the furniture will be delivered flatpack by the Courier Service for self assembly.
PREPARING YOUR ROOM

Please make sure that the room where the furniture will be delivered to is cleared and easily accessible.

If the room is not cleared or easily accessible, delivery will be made to the nearest accessible point or the delivery person will be entitled to charge an additional fee.
DELIVERY AND ASSEMBLY

Orders ship directly from our CPT warehouse and/or from suppliers which make to order across SA.

Items are not necessarily consolidated and may arrive at different times.

Special Order products: These items are imported especially for you in 6-12 weeks.

Transit time is in business days (excludes Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays). Please allow additional time for orders shipping outside the Main City Centers. Delivery hours are between 9-5 Monday to Friday.
SHIPPING ADDRESS
Deliveries will take place to the shipping address provided at the time of payment of the order. It is the responsibility of the Customer to ensure that the shipping address is correct at time of placing and making payment for the Order.
While we may assist the customer wherever possible, we take no responsibility for any changes that the Customer may make to the shipping address or any resultant losses, damages or delays.
Inspection on Delivery: Please note that all deliveries need to be inspected upon arrival and any shortcomings or damages need to be reported within 24 hours. Any other issues with your Goods (including workmanship flaws) must be reported within 7 days of delivery.

We will take no responsibility for;

any Goods ordered incorrectly or,

any Goods ordered that turn out to be unsuitable for the intended needs of the customer, unless the need or purpose of the Goods has been expressly told to us.

any Goods damaged after delivery

Inspection on Assembly: Please note that all assemblies must take place in the room for where the furniture is intended. The assembled items must be inspected in the presence of the Assembly Team and any damages immediately noted.

We take no responsibility for any damages that are not reported to the Assembly Team on site at the time of the assembly.

If you would like to move your furniture in the future, please disassemble any knock down items prior to moving to avoid damage.
STORAGE

Shipment will take place once payment is received, and products are in stock and available. The standard delivery times apply: Shipping: 5 to 7 Working Days Assembly: 5 to 10 Working days

Orders may not be stored at our warehouses or with the Courier Company. Any request by the Customer for a Courier Company to hold back delivery for longer than the stated shipping times above is at the sole risk and responsibility of the Customer. We will not be liable for any losses or damages, because of said arrangement. Should such a request be made to the Courier Company we will regard the order as delivered and the 7 day Returns Policy will come into effect at said date of such arrangement.

Assemblies should not be delayed longer than the 5 to 10 working days lead time. Any request by the customer for an assembly to be delayed is at the sole risk of the customer. . We will not be liable for any losses or damages, because of said arrangement. Should such a request be made to the Assembly Team we will regard the order as completed and the 7 day Returns Policy will come into effect at said date of such arrangement.
